The major search engines give importance to links obtained from quality web directories so that you need to pay close attention to certain factors when submitting your site to directory. Directories have an important source for links and these links should ideally be optimized for the keywords that you want to improving its position in search engine. Implement directory submission with your keyword in way that you can get maximum benefit of SEO. If you do not follow proper formula and stuffing keyword everywhere in directory submission, than your listing can be reject. You can use your keywords in different part of submission such as title, description and keywords tag. the main goal is to use them naturally and keep the needs of your human readers as your primary focus.

Keyword in title:

Reader must read your directory listing naturally so that use your keyword naturally in description. Having many of similar descriptions simply cannot be natural so that try to using different descriptions and rotate them in order to make it unique for each directory listing. Generally most of web directory accept up to 250 words in description.

There is a big difference between the keywords you choose to focus on in your description and the keywords you choose to use in linking back to your website (in your title). The overall strategy is to use long tail keyword phrases in writing your description, and use main keyword phrases in your title to link back to your website.
